Case Study: РаботаIL
Building a live job board for Israel — a real web product powered by a Google Sheet and WhatsApp.
The product and the challenge
РаботаIL is a job board for Russian-speaking people looking for work across Israel. Today these jobs are scattered across dozens of Telegram channels with no filters, no structure and no easy way to apply.
What made finding a job hard
Jobs scattered everywhere
Vacancies lived across dozens of Telegram channels, groups and word of mouth.
No way to filter
There was no way to sort by city, pay rate or type of work.
Applying was painful
Every application meant manual messages, back-and-forth and often a resume.
Expensive to maintain
A normal job board needs a CMS, a database and a developer on call.
Weak on mobile
Most job seekers browse on a phone, where existing options worked badly.
An underserved audience
Russian-speaking job seekers had no clean, trustworthy board of their own.
What Minox Digital built
A fast, self-updating job board the client manages entirely from a Google Sheet — no code, no CMS.
Google Sheet as the backend
The client edits a row in a spreadsheet and the site updates itself. No admin panel, no developer.
Smart filters & search
Filter by city, pay rate and category, or search instantly by keyword.
One-tap WhatsApp apply
Each listing opens a pre-filled WhatsApp message. No registration, no resume.
Clean job cards
Pay, schedule, location and perks shown clearly at a single glance.
Mobile-first & fast
Built in vanilla JS, hosted on Vercel, loads in under a second.
Multilingual-ready
Russian is live now, with Ukrainian and Hebrew planned for stage 2.
All candidate forms in one place — not lost in Telegram chats
A closed admin view of every application — straight from the same Google Sheet that powers the public board.
How the system works inside
РаботаIL is not just a landing page. It is a small operating system for vacancies, candidates and managers.
Vacancies start in Google Sheets
The client adds a job, city, salary, housing and category in a familiar table. This becomes the single source of truth.
The public site builds itself
The same data powers counters, map points, filters and job cards, so the board stays fresh without manual uploads.
Candidates apply in WhatsApp
Every job creates a ready message with the selected position, city and key details, making the first contact fast and clear.
Applications are ready for CRM
The flow is prepared for a closed manager panel where responses can be collected, checked and processed without losing context.
Solutions you can see
Real screens from the live site — and how each decision helps the business.
A map driven by a Google Sheet
City markers and counters are generated from the same Google Sheet that holds the vacancies. The client edits a spreadsheet — the map, the list and the numbers all update themselves, with no developer involved.
Built for the phone
Most job seekers arrive on mobile. Everything stacks cleanly — search, map, filters and cards stay fully usable, with no zooming and no horizontal scroll.
From a spreadsheet to a hired worker
The client never touches code. They manage vacancies in a familiar spreadsheet, and every candidate lands directly in WhatsApp — ready to talk.
What this means for the client
Full control, zero code
Vacancies are managed from a Google Sheet that anyone on the team can edit.
Near-zero maintenance cost
No CMS, no server bills, no monthly developer to keep it running.
Instant applications
Candidates apply in one tap, straight into WhatsApp.
Better candidate quality
Filters and clear cards mean fewer irrelevant messages.
Works on any phone
Mobile-first design for an audience that lives on mobile.
Ready to scale
More languages and cities can be added without rebuilding the product.
